AML for users
Where to Find the AML Control and How to Get an Overview
The AML overview is available as a tab when you open the Client Card under Customers. In the Basic Information section, you will see an overview of the risk assessment assigned to the customer.
To access more detailed information, including the full AML assessment, navigate to the AML tab, which is also located within the Client Card. Here, you can review existing assessments and create new ones.
Another way to get an overview is by hovering over the Control Module and selecting AML. From there, you can choose the customer you want to review and follow the same process.

How to Conduct an AML Assessment
Just like you can view the AML overview in two ways, you can also create a new AML assessment in the same two locations. In this guide, we will go through the process via the Client Card.
Once you have selected the customer for whom you want to perform an AML assessment, click "New Assessment" and choose the template you want to use.
In the assessment, the Overview section will show how many high-risk and normal-risk responses you have. This updates dynamically based on your answers to the questions below. For certain specific questions, you must provide a comment. The same applies if you answer "Yes" to any questions or if you respond to specific high-risk questions.
After completing all the questions, you will select the risk assessment level for the customer under the Assessment section.
⚠️ REMEMBER: The risk assessment can be based on factors such as country, industry, and other criteria. If you are unsure about which risk level to assign, consult your nearest manager, check the intranet, or ask Ingunn.
Providing a justification for your assessment is mandatory, and you must write at least 10 words. Next to the justification, you can choose whether the assessment should be marked as "Recurring" or not.
Once this is done, you have completed the assessment. Next, click "Change Status", select the status of the assessment, and assign a reviewer, who will receive an email (not a task, just a notification) informing them that the assessment is ready for review. Finally, click "Save Status".
After saving, you can set the next assessment date, which will appear next to the Recurring checkbox.
Reviewing an AML Assessment as a Controller
Go to the AML Assessments section, where you will find an overview of the assessment completed by the consultant. You cannot edit the consultant’s responses or comments, but you have a separate field where you can add your own comment. This field is located next to the consultant’s comment.
Once you have completed the review, click "Change Status", and either move the assessment forward to "Control Done" or send it back to "In Progress". If you select "Done", your comment field will be locked, and a report (PDF) will be generated.
To get an overview of where different companies are in the process, go to the Control Module and navigate to AML. Here, you will see a list of all companies and their current status in the AML process.
On the far right of each customer, you have the option to copy an assessment or create a new one. If you choose to copy an assessment, you also have the option to copy previous responses. Additionally, you can view all past assessments for a customer by clicking the downward arrow next to their name.
If you want an overview at the team level or other broader insights, click "Progress Report", which is located next to "Client Report" under Control → AML.
